Neck & Sacroiliac Pain Disappeared Immediately Following ALF Appliance Insertion and Adjustment

Seven dentists later Dr. Dan Tuttle presented himself on my door step. When you present yourself to a dentist for routine services you assume they know what they are doing.

(see related case #128: Dentistry’s Standard of Care Unable to Diagnose the Real Cause of Complex Pain Patterns)

Unfortunately, that is not always the case. Dr. Tuttle had a “simple” restoration (filling), which was not adjusted to support his cranium. In most cases, patients can accommodate to minor discrepancies but in the case of a glass doll patient slight imbalances will wreak havoc in the body.

Since the human body works like a “slinky,” Dan’s body reacted adversely to the structural imbalance that was created by the improperly restored tooth. His neck and sacroiliac became unstable to the point he had to be adjusted numerous times during each day. A semblance of stability was achieved by judiciously adjusting his bite after his cranium was balanced by cranial manipulation. Everything was going relatively well until he was working an autistic patient who accidentally hit him in the head. Things went downhill from there. No amount of adjustments could stabilize his neck and sacroiliac joint. Dr. Tuttle phoned me for a consultation. I suggested use of an ALF ultralight appliance to stabilize his temporal bones, which in turn would stabilize his sacroiliac and neck.

On January 4, 2021, Dr. Tuttle flew in from Florida for an appointment. A custom ALF (Advanced,Lightwire Functional) appliance was inserted and adjusted to correct his cranial distortions. Immediately upon insertion, Dan stated that his neck and sacroiliac pain totally disappeared. The key to successful treatment is to make a correct diagnosis. Unless the practitioner understands reciprocal relationships, the structural problems can never be solved. Of interest, Dr. Tuttle phoned me two weeks post-insertion to appraise me of how fantastic he felt and that his cervical vertebrae and sacroiliac joint was totally stable. Just like a cast is placed on a broken bone to stabilize the fracture while the body heals, the ALF stabilizes the body structurally until the skull bones remodel. The process may take upwards of a year to insure stability to his neck and lower back.

My 2019 publication, Remove the “Splinters” and Watch the Body Heal, was written to awaken people to focus on the underlying causes of the health problem and not focus on the symptoms. The book provides answers to many health problems that have eluded traditional medicine and dentistry. It is a must read for anyone who has health issues with no resolution.
