Dental/Chronic Pain Connection: Ear Piercing, Tooth and Other Subluxations

Most patients and healthcare practitioners do not connect the dots when it comes to relating to multiple sites of pain. One such case involved one of my students attending my recent seminar in Seoul Korea. The dentist suffered chronic pain in her right shoulder, right knee and right ankle for many years. Of interest was the fact that her right ear piercing corresponded to an acupuncture point that caused a narrowing of her blood vessels on the right side of her body. Also the silver earing had nickel as part of the metal alloy. Nickel is carcinogenic (cancer producing) and often causes irritations and rashes anywhere on the body. In addition to her piercing she had a subluxation of her right ring finger, mid-line pelvis articulation, right shoulder, right acetabulum (hip joint) and forth toe next to her pinky. Furthermore the maxillary or upper right first molar was sublimated (out of alignment within the socket). The tooth mal-position was corrected along with the other subluxations and the acupuncture point treated with a 5 milliwatt green laser, which caused an immediate return to the circulation to her right side of her body. She felt an immediate relief of all her right sided pain. Often times multiple issues are present that require unraveling in order to effect a resolution. Doctors must think out side of the box in order to solve complex problems.
