Ear Piercings can be a Source of Depression

Paul Nogier, a French medical doctor, discovered and mapped out the acupuncture points on the ear which correspond to all the anatomic points in the body. Every time someone pierces their ear the potential exists that they are either stimulating or suppressing a bodily function without being aware of the consequences. Marissa was just such a case. The following testimonial is in her own words.

“My whole late teen and adult life I have struggled with depression and anxiety. No medication, supplements, or treatments were helping. As recently as the past few months, it had gotten more severe. Between environmental and internal triggers, I had fallen down the rabbit hole of self loathing and a full on existential crisis. I felt no sense of purpose and wondered what I was even doing here on Earth.

“I had an ear cartilage piercing since October of 2018. Just a few days ago, (September 2019) I decided to take it out. It was always sore and was always clogged with puss. This was a 14Kt white gold stud. After taking out the piercing, within 24 hours I felt a complete flip in my emotional state. I don’t dread waking up and going through my day is no longer a chore. I still have a long way to go with emotional healing but this one change put me lightyears ahead of where I was. My boyfriend even expressed he saw a huge difference in my attitude. It’s such a freeing felling and I’m hoping this sticks.”

A low grade infection at the site of an ear piercing will stimulate the adrenal glands and the infection will be filtered through the thyroid as well as all the other organs. Another burden on the thyroid especially if it is already functioning below normal will enhance depression, anxiety, and other emotional issues. This eye opener may help others suffering similar problems.
