Chronic Nausea, Stomach Pain and Pharmaceuticals

Whoever said “Better Living Through Chemistry” had to be smoking weed. The human body has a fantastic filter, the liver. Unfortunately, abusing it can have far reaching consequences. Like a sponge, the liver can hold only so many toxins and then it spills over. This was the case with Evelyn.

For years Evelyn took pharmaceuticals; a pill of every ill. Since 2016, she has been complaining of stomach pain and severe nausea. Despite all the extensive blood testing, the medical profession had no idea what was causing her symptoms. There are two major problems with the medical profession: first, there is a disconnect between the information that they learned from medical school and how the body really works; and second they do not take the time to review all the medications the patient has been taking over the years. A plethora of blood pressure meds, anti-depressants, anti-anxiety meds, anti-nausea meds, etc. etc., etc. all combine to get trapped within the matrix of the filter, the liver.

Evaluation of the patient’s chief complaints and symptoms was a dead give away to the root cause of her problem. Belching, burping, and digestion issues points the finger at a liver/gallbladder issue. Placing the patient on choline (fraction of the B-cmplex which helps to digest fats) and an herbal liver detox formula helped to alleviate the symptoms. As a side affect the patient had a bout of vomiting, which is Mother Nature’s way of rapidly expelling the toxic poisons that were trapped in her liver. The moral of the story is SAY NO to Drugs!
